
These date balls are my all time favourite snack. They are made without any added sugar and are packed with healthy fats and protein. Although these date balls are super healthy they taste delicious. The combination of chocolate, nuts and dates makes this recipe a hit every time I make it.


Measure 1 cup of almonds and add to a bowl

Makes about 24 Cocoa Date balls
Ingredients
- 100 grams of dates without seeds any type
- 1 cup of walnuts
- 1 cup of almonds
- 1 tbsp dark cocoa powder
- 1 to 2 cups of warm water
- Remove seeds from dates
- Measure 100g of dates
- Soak the dates in 1 to 2 cups of warm water
- In a separate bowl. add in 1 cup of almonds and 1 cup off walnuts
- Then add 1 tbsp of cocoa powder to the bowl
- Blend the cocoa powder, walnuts and almonds in a food processor until it forms a crumb like texture
- Drain the water from the dates
- Add the dates to the food processor and blend until the batter start to form into a ball
- Roll the batter into small balls
You can store the Cocoa Date Balls in the fridge for up-to 2 weeks in an air tight container.
